Now for something completely different

December 18, 2008 | Filed Under My Life

I have had a fascination and a soft spot for the romantic era of the 1940s for a long time.  You can actually sometimes find Sarah and me at the Dallas Swing Dance Society hopping to some East Coast Swing. (If any of you blog readers want to go to a dance with us sometime let me know.)

So when an opportunity came up for me to shoot a Military Pinup series at the Dallas Flight Museum I jumped at the chance. These photos include some classic elements as well as a little bit of my own spin.

This is also a great time to remember our Service men and women, some of whom will not be able to come home for Christmas. Thank you to those currently serving and the veterans, including my Dad and brother, for the sacrifices you have made. This post goes out to you.

Love your stuff Jeremy…. Still wondering how you got some of those shots. I think most of the time I saw you shooting with no flash or lights
