Sunita and Nate Married in Cancun

Sunita and Nate were a dream to work with for their destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. They are from Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. They booked me for their wedding at Dreams Cancun almost a year ahead of time and the hardest part was waiting for their wedding to finally get here. After the intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest friends they planned nearly an hour and half for photos so we could take full advantage of our surroundings! I am so happy that I had the chance to join Sunita and Nate along with their friends in Cancun for this wedding.

I love when wedding blogs feature my work, and seeing one of my images in print in a national publication blows my mind! I’m excited to show off my bouquet image printed in the Summer issue of Get Married Magazine. Check out page 45, a pretty pink and white bouquet from Joslyn and Bill’s wedding (that still needs to be blogged!), designed by Joy over at Stanford Designs. Get Married magazine has lots of great ideas, with fun features and images throughout.
Next up, Destination I Do Magazine featured Cathy and Dan’s wedding at Secrets Maroma Beach in Riviera Maya on their blog. You can check out their feature here Destination I Do’s magazine and blog are full of inspirational ideas for your Destination Wedding.
Catherine + Elliot Married Playa Del Carmen

Four years ago Emily and Barrett were married and I was there to photograph their Dallas wedding. In November Emily’s sister Catherine was getting married to Elliot in Playa Del Carmen and asked me to travel with them to photograph their beach wedding. It is such an honor for a family to consider me their “family photographer”. My wife Sarah and I were happy to go spend the week in Playa del Carmen with Catherine and Elliot and their family and friends. Unfortunately, Hurricane Ida was making her way through the Yucatan channel on the day of the wedding so we had to move the wedding off of the beach. But everyone was in great spirits and having such a good time it was no problem. They had a beautiful wedding and reception at The Royal Playa del Carmen. The day after the wedding the sun came out and we got a chance to take some photos on the beach. Thanks Catherine and Elliot for having Sarah and me along for the ride and including us as part of your family.
