It has been such a priveledge and a blessing to photograph Sarah and Ben’s Engagement and Bridal sessions and now their wedding. Thanks to Justin at Legacy Productions for sending them my way. Is it too old fashioned to say they are a neat couple? They love each other so much and everyone they know loves them. They each have a big heart for people and everyone gravitates toward them.
The wedding was at Chappelle des Fleurs in Flower Mound and it was a great party!

Sarah, Ben and their entire wedding party sported Tom’s Shoes which are not only cooler and more comfortable than regular wedding shoes but for every shoe that is bought they give a pair of shoes to a child in need. Buy lots.

Don’t look directly into Ben’s eyes. Sorry ladies…He’s taken.

What could make them more awesome? They chose to see each other before the wedding so we could take most of the portraits and spend less time after the ceremony. Everyone should do this, and it allows for a more intimate first look, the pictures speak.

Like I mentioned on her bridal session post, Sarah was a Dallas Cowboy’s Cheerleader the past two years. There are worse jobs than being in the middle of a cheerleader dance party.

Congratulations to Sarah and Ben, thank you so much for inviting me into your lives.

You may recognize Sarah from her engagement session with Ben earlier this year. They were married last weekend so I can finally show you her bridal session. I love it when my clients think outside the box. She said she wanted a night-time bridal session in Downtown Dallas. That’s what we did, and it was sweet.

She’s a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, so we had to do a couple shots with her boots!

Keep an eye out for Sarah and Ben’s wedding post coming soon to a blog near you.

Laurie and Jim’s wedding website was titled “It’s finally happening”. On May 2nd, it happened. They have been together since the mid 90s and have been around the world together. You can tell how much they love each other, and I was happy to be a part of this long awaited wedding. Thanks to Amy Karp for being my super second for the day. It was a rainy day, but it was a cool feeling being in the clouds at City Club on the 69th floor of the Bank of America building.

Unfortunately the minister got caught in traffic behind an accident and was an hour late. When the ceremony finally got rolling it was the fastest one ever. Not much more than 5 minutes. Do you? Do you? You’re Married!

What a fun group!

A little twist on some traditional posing.

They definitely had some fun during the reception.

My favorite!

Congratulations to Laurie & Jim!

Rachie + Bobby = Radtacular! So many things I loved about this session. One of my favorite locations to shoot is in downtown Dallas. Rachie wore a traditional Indian Sari to start off. We mixed in a little American fashion. Not to mention they are beautiful. Their wedding in August is gonna be so cool I have to use a phrase from the 1990s that I have never said before, It’s gonna be “off the chain”!

Laurie and Jim are getting married in two short weeks! They have been together for more than 10 years and are finally taking the plunge. I can’t wait to be a part of this momentous occasion in Downtown Dallas. Here are their sunsoaked engagement photos.

We all know marriage isn’t all rainbows and butterflies. Here’s an image inspired by Mortal Kombat.
